This Privacy Policy defines how rue.ee collects, uses, stores, and discloses information received from users on the website RUE.EE (“Site”). This privacy policy applies to the Site, all subdomains of the Site and all products and services offered by rue.ee.

Information received

When you visit the Site, we determine the IP address, the domain name from which you came to us (for example, “Google.com”) and the country of registration of this ip, and also record all visitor transitions from one page of the Site to another.

The information we receive on the Site may be used to facilitate the use of the Site. The Site only collects general information that your browser provides voluntarily when you visit the Site.

The site applies the standard “cookies” (“cookies”) technology to customize the Site’s display styles to monitor screen settings. “Cookies” are data from a website that stores on your computer’s hard drive. “Cookies” contain information that may be necessary for setting up the Site – for saving your settings options of browsing and gathering statistical information on the Site, i.e. which pages you visited, that was downloaded, the domain name of the ISP and the country of the visitor, as well as the addresses of third-party websites from which the migration to the Site and further.

In addition, the Site uses standard features (logs)  web servers to count the number of visitors and assess the technical capabilities of the host server, ratings and counter attendance from third-party organizations (Google.com, etc.).

We use this information to determine how many people visit the Site and to arrange pages in the most convenient way for users, to ensure that the Site is consistent with the browsers you use, and to make the content of the Site as useful as possible for visitors. We record movement information on the Site, but not about individual visitors to the Site, so that no specific information regarding you personally will be stored or used by the Administration of the Site without your consent.

We may also collect personal identification information from users when a user visits our Site,  registers on the Site, places an order, fills out forms and in connection with other activities on the Site. Users may be asked to indicate their name, email address, phone number, credit card details if necessary. Users may, however, visit our Site anonymously. We collect personal user identification information only if they voluntarily provide us with such information. Users may always refuse to provide personal identification information, unless it may interfere with the use of certain features of the Site.

How we use the collected information

Rue.ee may collect and use personal information from users for the following purposes:

• To improve customer service. The information you provide helps us to respond to customer requests more efficiently;
• To personalize user experience. We may use the information to determine which of the visitors to the Site are most interested in the services and resources provided on our Site;
• To improve our Site. We can use the feedback you provide to improve our products and services;
• For payment processing. We can use user information when making an order to make payments and only for this purpose. We do not share this information with third parties, except when necessary for the provision of services;
• To send users information that they have agreed to receive on topics that we think will be of interest to them;
• To send periodic emails,  which may include company news, updates, information about products and services, etc. If the user would like to opt out of receiving further emails, we include a detailed description of the instructions for, how to unsubscribe at the bottom of each email or the user can contact us via our Site.

User’s Personal Data

By entering personal data in any form of feedback on the Site,  by pressing the button «Send», the User decides to provide his personal data and gives consent to their processing by his will and in his interest, the User’s consent is specific and conscious.

Personal data received from the User, who is the subject of personal data, is used by the administration of the site exclusively for the purpose of concluding contracts with the User or for the implementation of the already concluded contract. Personal information of the User shall be kept confidential, under no circumstances shall it be distributed or provided to third parties without the consent of the User, unless provided for the current Estonian legislation.

The Administration of the Site does not verify the authenticity of personal information provided by Users, nor does it verify their legal capacity. In doing so, the Administration of the Site assumes that the information transmitted to it from users is correct.

The User is responsible for providing personal data of a third party.

Personal data entered by the User when filling in the feedback form, application for site development, on a call back, can be used by the Administration of the Site for preparation and direction of offer, transaction, performance of service or improvement of quality of service.

The User agrees that the Administration of the Site has the right to use the User’s personal data for electronic news or advertising distribution, including through email-letters.

Processing of Users’ Personal Data

Acceptance of the terms of this Policy with regard to the provisions on the processing of personal data, is made by the User to mark any feedback form and is the User’s expressed informed consent to the processing of personal data.

The User agrees that the Administration of the Site has the right to store and process, including automated,  any information relating to personal data of the User in accordance with the law «On personal data»,  including the collection, systematization, accumulation, storage, clarification,  use, distribution (including transmission),  Anonymization, blocking, destruction of personal data,  provided by the User when filling in the feedback form on the Site.

Consent to the processing of personal data may at any time be withdrawn by the User by written application to the Administration of the Site. In the event that the User withdraws consent to the processing of personal data, the Administration of the Site shall delete the User’s personal data and shall not have the right to use them in the future.

How we protect your information

The administration of the Site ensures confidentiality and security in the processing of personal data. We take appropriate security measures to collect, store and process any collected data to protect it from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction of your personal information (user name, password, transaction information and data stored on our Site).

Sharing personal information

We do not sell, exchange or rent personal information. We may provide general aggregated demographic data unrelated to personal information by our partners and advertisers for the purposes described above. We can use third-party service providers to help us manage our business and Site or manage activities on our behalf, such as mailing lists or statistical and other research. Rue.ee is free to update this Privacy Policy at any time. In this case, we will publish the notice on the home page of our Site and inform you about it by e-mail. We encourage users to check this page regularly to keep abreast of any changes to how we protect the personal information we collect. By using the Site, you agree to assume responsibility for the periodic review and modification of the Privacy Policy.

By using this Site, you express your specific and informed consent to this Policy. If you do not agree with this policy,  please do not use our Site. Your continued use of the Site after making changes to this policy will be considered as your acceptance of these changes.
