The company was listed on the Vienna Stock Exchange from March 2000 until it merged with PartyGaming plc in March 2011 to form Bwin.Party Digital Entertainment. This company was acquired by GVC Holdings in February 2016. GVC continues to use Bwin as a brand.

December 2004 Acquired Ongame e-solutions AB, which became bwin Games.
2005 Acquired global media rights outside Germany for the German Football League.
August 2006 Launched the new bwin brand, transitioning from Betandwin.
2007 Started broadcasting major sporting events live.
September 2009 Acquired Italian poker operator Gioco Digitale, entering the Italian market.

PartyGaming Merger

On 1 April 2011, bwin and British gaming company PartyGaming announced their merger. The new company has become the world’s largest public online gaming company, 48.4% owned by existing PartyGaming shareholders and 51.6% by bwin shareholders. The combined company is listed on the London Stock Exchange with CEO Norbert Toefelberger and Jim Ryan. 2014 Continued to develop bwin.party interested gambling giant GVC Holdings. He began a long process of absorption that was completed in early 2016 and cost the GVC approximately $ 1.5 billion.
