Blockchain Life 2019

The Blockchain Life 2019 conference, held on October 16–17, 2019 at Moscow’s Expocentre, became one of the most significant events of the year in the field of blockchain, cryptocurrencies, and financial technologies in the post-Soviet space. The forum brought together more than six thousand participants from seventy countries, including representatives of government bodies, major technology companies, investment funds, and legal organizations supporting projects in the virtual assets sector. The main goal of the event was to create a platform for dialogue between participants of the crypto industry and traditional business.

Over the course of two days, participants had the opportunity to exchange experiences, discuss trends in regulation and blockchain implementation, as well as explore new technological solutions and services presented in the exhibition area of the forum.

Among the speakers were well-known experts and practitioners, including representatives from Huawei, Oracle, QIWI Blockchain Technologies, as well as international specialists working in tokenization, financial compliance, and the integration of blockchain into government systems. A significant part of the program was dedicated to legal and regulatory aspects of the crypto industry, licensing issues, and investor protection, making the conference especially valuable for the professional legal community.

AIBC Summit Malta 2019

In November 2019, Malta hosted the international forum AIBC Summit Malta, which became one of the most significant events of the year for participants in the blockchain, cryptocurrency, and fintech industries. The event took place at the InterContinental Arena Conference Centre in St. Julian’s and brought together more than twelve thousand participants from over eighty countries, including regulators, technology solution developers, investors, and legal advisors. The summit’s main goal was to create a dialogue platform that united business, technology, and law.

Over the course of two days, participants discussed key trends in the development of digital assets, the introduction of artificial intelligence into financial infrastructure, as well as the legal and regulatory aspects of the crypto market in Europe. Special attention was paid to issues of crypto provider licensing, compliance, and engagement with supervisory authorities in the context of upcoming EU-wide MiCA regulation.

The summit hosted leading experts from various countries, including representatives of technology companies, financial institutions, and government bodies. Among the most discussed topics were international cooperation in the regulation of virtual assets, the development of security and AML standards, and the practical application of blockchain in sectors such as logistics, banking, government registries, and digital identity.

 AIBC Summit Dubai 2021

In the spring of 2021, Regulated United Europe took part in another major international conference — AIBC Summit Dubai, one of the world’s largest events dedicated to blockchain technologies, cryptocurrencies, artificial intelligence, and fintech innovations. The forum was held at the InterContinental Dubai Festival City and brought together representatives from over one hundred countries, including government bodies, leading blockchain platforms, investment funds, legal advisors, and developers of high-tech solutions.

The main objective of AIBC Summit Dubai 2021 was to unite industry professionals to exchange experiences and discuss key directions in the development of the digital economy. Unlike many thematic events, this conference stood out for its emphasis on the practical application of technologies and the legal aspects of their regulation, which made it particularly valuable for companies working at the intersection of technology and law.

Among the topics discussed, special attention was given to international standards for regulating crypto assets, licensing of virtual currency providers, implementation of AML/CTF controls, and the harmonization of rules at both the EU and Middle Eastern levels. Experts also examined approaches to legalizing digital assets across different jurisdictions and the possibilities of integrating blockchain solutions into financial infrastructure.
