RUE Lawyers – Career Growth and Professional Development within the Company

When recruiting new employees, Regulated United Europe prioritises motivation, initiative and readiness for professional development. Unlike many traditional law firms, we do not limit ourselves to formal work experience requirements, but instead focus on personal potential, a willingness to learn and the ability to adapt to a rapidly changing legal environment.

This approach enables us to build a team of professionals for whom working in the field of international law and crypto-asset regulation is a conscious choice and a continuous source of growth, not just a profession. We believe that inner drive, an analytical mindset and accountability for results form the foundation of professional success.

Every new employee is given the opportunity to develop practical skills under the guidance of the company’s experienced lawyers, participate in real cases, and gain experience of interacting with European regulators.

Thanks to this approach, Regulated United Europe builds a strong, motivated and united team, capable of handling tasks of any complexity and providing a high level of legal support to clients in different European countries.

Below are two career stories of our employees, presented without disclosing personal data.

First Story

This career success story shows how persistence, professionalism and a drive for development can lead to significant achievements in the field of international law and crypto-asset regulation in Europe.

After graduating from Mykolas Romeris University in Vilnius with a law degree, she joined the Lithuanian branch of the company as a junior lawyer. From the outset, she demonstrated a high level of responsibility and attention to detail, as well as a deep understanding of the legal aspects of companies operating within the European Union in the fields of virtual assets and financial services.

During her early years with the company, she was involved in drafting legal opinions, assisting with applications for VASP licences, and counselling clients on crypto-asset taxation and adherence to anti-money laundering (AML) and counter-terrorist financing (CTF) regulations. Her analytical skills and ability to make decisions under significant regulatory pressure enabled her to successfully resolve even the most complex cases.

Thanks to her professional persistence and strong commitment to projects, she was promoted to Lead Lawyer in the Crypto-Asset Regulation Department after two years. In this role, she coordinates international client projects, liaises with regulators in different jurisdictions and contributes to the development of internal procedures aimed at improving the efficiency of legal support.

Her career exemplifies steady growth in an environment where innovation is combined with strict legal standards. She has achieved professional recognition and has become a key figure in shaping Regulated United Europe‘s development strategy in the European crypto-regulation market.

Mykolas Romeris UniversitySecond Story

The professional growth story of another Regulated United Europe employee from the Estonian office is an example of confident career advancement in corporate and financial law.

After graduating from the Faculty of Law at the University of Tartu, he started his career at a notary office in Tallinn, gaining practical experience in drafting contracts, preparing founding documents and supporting registration procedures. This experience provided a solid foundation for his future professional development, enabling him to develop a deep understanding of the legal aspects of Estonian corporate law.

Upon joining Regulated United Europe as a lawyer, he was responsible for preparing contracts and document packages for company formation in Estonia, assisting with the registration of non-resident legal entities and advising clients on matters of corporate governance and taxation. Thanks to his attention to detail, strict adherence to legal requirements and ability to find practical solutions for international clients, he quickly established himself as a competent and reliable specialist.

After four years of successful work and participation in several significant projects, he was promoted to Chief Legal Counsel of the company. At this point, he shifted his professional focus to drafting legal opinions for crypto projects and electronic money institutions (EMIs), as well as supporting clients through all stages of obtaining MiCA licences. His ability to combine legal precision with an understanding of business processes made him a key member of the team responsible for legal strategy and engagement with European regulators.

His journey at Regulated United Europe is a story of professional growth, built on systematic work, legal erudition and a commitment to delivering impeccable service quality to clients around the world.

Third Story

The third stage of professional development at our company reflects a path of determination, growth and dedication to one’s work.

Starting her career as a part-time assistant accountant (0.5 FTE), she successfully combined her role with another job, demonstrating discipline, responsibility, and a high level of self-organisation. After completing her Accounting education at Tallinna Majanduskool, she stood out from the outset with her attention to detail, eagerness to learn, and readiness to master new aspects of accounting and tax practice.

From her first months at the company, she played an active role in maintaining client accounts, assisting in report preparation, and liaising with tax authorities. Management noted her initiative, her attentiveness to legislative changes and her ability to communicate effectively with clients. She was gradually entrusted with more complex tasks, including preparing financial statements, overseeing accounting operations, and participating in audits.

Within three years, she progressed from assistant to Chief Accountant, taking on full responsibility for accounting operations, internal control and reporting to regulatory authorities. Her professional growth has set an example for other employees, confirming that persistence, commitment to development and a willingness to take responsibility inevitably lead to success.

She has now fully realised her potential in her chosen profession, making a significant contribution to the company’s development by ensuring a high level of financial discipline and transparency.

Tallinna Majanduskool

By creating a supportive and motivating work environment, we aim to provide more than just jobs; we aim to create a space for growth where everyone can unlock their potential, realise their ambitions, and become an expert in their field.

We place particular importance on training and developing our employees’ competencies. This is why the company is ready to support and fund specialised courses, professional development and participation in educational programmes aligned with each employee’s chosen career path.

This approach enables us to strengthen our team and ensure a high level of professional standards, on which our company’s reputation is built. We are confident that investing in knowledge and staff development is investing in the company’s sustainable future and long-term success.
